speaking about Furthur - If I go for one of the three east coast gigs posted (nyc,ct,ac - I think) instead of DSO will they let JK sing - or will I have to hear Bobby do Sugaree? I won't be able to stay if it's the latter - maybe they got comfortable out west and will let JK be Jer a little more? jg - be careful with the Nokia (although I THINK you're ok)regarding the dso line up...

I don't know how to paste - not in a million years - when is that you tube video (the one posted on here yesterday or the day b4) of them from? They sound horrible. I wouldn't go if somebody gave me a ticket. Now, the DSO show (6-10-76) I just saw with a Mission was well worth the $35, although I think they're even getting a little steep....

although I thought Phil was better than Bobby (hav'nt seen either in a couple of years) I can't get into it either - would rather see DSO but have had enough of them already. Bobby went wrong in my opinion when he started doing tunes he should not have touched - ie To Lay Me Down,etc... If he wanted to do his stuff and have someone do some of Jer's covers (I don't know - Baby Blue + shit like that) and ALSO introduce some new stuff - ok......

can't remember who was asking about it last week but I just noticed DSO played it this past weekend - a different forum member saw it - maybe we can get a review?...

Posted by ducats on Apr 1, 2007 9:11am into GratefulDead
was that a regular concert night? I see they (DSO) played a 91 show on Fri night so my guess is our poster got a 70's show last night -0 just wondering why they have never played the above show - only time the boys played the hall?...

far and away the best tribute band ever - including that Beatles thing on Broadway 25 years ago - b4 anybody asks why is DSO ok but not Ratdog I ask is Ratdog a tribute band? Hopefully you will get a 27 song 70's show with some good shit; ie. Mr. Charlie (they rock it) - Me and Bobby - Sing me back home, etc.. Enjoy!!...
